Lincoln police say two men first threatened a woman’s life, then raped her — with her young son inside the apartment.

10/11 spoke with neighbors in the woman’s apartment building who say she is shook up and in shock.

Police say the rape happened just before 5:30 Sunday morning in an apartment near 9th and Washington streets — which is a block south of 9th and A streets.

Police say two men came into the woman’s apartment — one carrying a steak knife — and threatened to kill her if she quote “didn’t shut up”.

Police say both men then raped the woman before leaving. The woman told police and neighbors that she didn’t know the men. Police say there was no sign of forced entry into her apartment. One of the neighbors we spoke with says the woman lives alone with her young son and has only been in the apartment about three months.

The suspect description is vague. Police say the woman described them as two black men — both about six feet tall — one about 300 pounds and the other man thinner.
