Finding The Best Cordless Electric Knife | Cordless Electric Knife
Shopping for the best cordless electric knife can be confusing. There are so many different types of cordless electric knives to choose from. There are also just as many different brands of cordless electric carving knives. Here are some things to consider when purchasing your knife.
1. Be Sure to Read Customer Reviews
It’s a good idea to read customer reviews online. One of my favorite places to read reviews from real people is on Amazon.com. Amazon places stars next to the products, which are voted by people who have actually reviewed the item. Don’t just believe the stars, people sometimes give excellent products a lower grade from crazy reasons, like slow shipping (because they didn’t pay for fast shipping), or other reasons which have nothing to do with the actual product. So be sure to scroll down and read the reviews.
2. Cordless Electric Knife Weight
Knife weight is extremely important. Many people don’t want a really heavy knife. You don’t want to be having to hold up a heavy electric carving knife for extended periods of cutting time. This would quickly get old but at the same time, you likely want some weight behind the knife. Knife weight is really a personal preference but is definitely something to think about.
The handle size should be big enough so that you can get a hold of it easily but at the same time, you don’t want an overly large and bulky handle.
4. Cordless Rechargeable Electric Knife versus a Corded Electric Knife
When shopping for an electric knife for cooking in the kitchen, don’t completely rule out a nice corded knife. Sure there are some cases when a cordless electric knife is a must, like cordless electric fillet knives for fishing but most times, especially in the kitchen a corded knife will do just fine. There are some great corded knifes on the market which have excellent customer reviews such as:
When shopping for electric knives, you may also want to consider purchasing an electric knife sharpener to keep your new knife blades nice and sharp so it will cut through meats like butter.
